  4. You can new telnet to our information server.

  7.         Telnet to:      info.cern.ch
  8.         User name:      www
  9.         (no password)

  11. You will be presented with the home page which is used at CERN on the
  12. central machines. From there, you can follow links whatever documents  
  13. and indexes we know about at CERN or elsewhere in the world of online  
  14. information. You will be using the line mode brower, which assumes  
  15. nothing about your terminal capabilities.

  17. This trial service is provided for those who want to try out the  
  18. software, or who need information and are away from home. If you use  
  19. this service frequently, it is much more efficient and faster for you  
  20. to install the browser locally.

  23. following the "Help" link from the home page.
